"I am not a full blown Harley man. I expected to get the cold shoulder. My expectations where way out of line. I was extremely pleased with the staff at zylstra in Ames. I wasn't happy with the first offers made but they worked hard to earn my business. It a dealership. They have employees and bills to pay. Sure I could of saved some money by purchasing from a private individual. It was because of Zylstra's friendly and welcoming atmosphere that I chose to purchase my first Harley Davidson from them. It wasn't just one person. They have a whole team throughout the whole building that were kind and helpful. Chris Scott was our salesman. He was great to work with. Brant and Eric helped us obtain a reasonable loan. Andy the store manager was friendly and also helped us reach a fair deal on our new bike. I spoke with the ladies in the clothing and merchandise side, awesome ladies. The parts department was amazing, they even helped me find a solution for my bike to help with my long legs. I spoke with the service department, I was encouraged by the number of combined years and experience their techs have. I would recommend Zylstra HD of Ames to anyone. Thanks Zylstra team!"

"I won't tell you this place is cheap. It's not. But it is quality! And that's what Harley is about. My interactions with the sales and service staff has been excellent. They are helpful without being pushy. You can browse and not feel pressured by sales staff. They also provide some great events and knowledge."
